Community Energy Communications Toolkit
To support Community Energy Fortnight (1 to 14 July 2026) and beyond, Sussex Energy has developed a free communications toolkit to help organisations raise awareness of community energy across Sussex.
The toolkit contains a bank of ready-to-use, non-branded communications content that organisations can adapt and share through their own channels, including social media, websites and newsletters. It includes:
- ready to use wording, graphics, images and links to videos
- local case studies from across Sussex
- links to advice, campaigns and opportunities to get involved
Who the toolkit is for
The toolkit is available for any organisation that would like to help promote community energy work in Sussex. Whether you’re looking to raise awareness of community energy, encourage local investment, signpost residents to energy advice or celebrate successful projects, you are welcome to select and adapt the content that is most relevant to your audience.
This is the first in a series of Sussex Energy communications toolkits covering different energy themes, designed to help organisations across the region create a stronger, more coordinated voice for the energy transition.
