If you’re a fan of the Sport of Kings, the Greater Brighton area has three of the biggest racecourses in the country.

Racing has taken place officially in Brighton since at least 1783, attracting royal visitors from its earliest days. Fontwell Park features the only figure-of-eight jumps track in the UK while Plumpton has attracted crowds to its races for over 100 years.
