Sussex is the oldest first class county cricket club in the country, having been founded in 1839. It has played the majority of its home matches at Hove cricket ground for 150 years but also uses scenic grounds in Arundel and Eastbourne on occasion.
If football at the Amex in Brighton might be thought of as sport at its most ferocious, cricket at Hove could be looked at as its more tranquil cousin.
But the introduction of T20 cricket has transformed that image, with the short form of the game having led to loud, boisterous crowds for evening matches at the County Ground.
