Businesses looking to provide staff with training and support to improve productivity are being invited to bid for £2 million of funding.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched a Direct Call for companies within the Coast to Capital LEP area – which includes all of Greater Brighton – to bid for grants via the European Social Fund.
The funding is focussed on Skills for Growth – which means it seeks to provide training, support and guidance to increase productivity and economic growth.
An event to launch these call took place at Crawley College earlier this month.
Councillor Helyn Clack, European Structural and Investment Funding Sub-Committee Chair, said: “We are delighted to be launching this £2 million funding opportunity and hope that it will attract exciting and high quality project applications from across the region.
“We are looking for innovative projects designed to improve the skills sets of individuals in our area and contribute to growing our economy”
